Representation ID: 24174

Received: 07/12/2018

Respondent: Mr Colin Bell

Legally compliant? Yes

Sound? No

Duty to co-operate? Yes

Representation Summary:

There are many potential dangers of the access site entrance in Barnhorn Road being so close to the "S" bend heading west and the local residents adjacent to and opposite the ghost lane will experience great problems in accessing and exiting their own drives.

Furthermore, Meads Road, Spindlewood Drive, Maple Walk and Maple Avenue are totally unsuitable for heavy traffic volumes (the last two are unadopted) that will occur as a direct result of the Spindlewood site development.

Finally the impact of air pollution around the site owing to the increase in traffic is yet again not acknowledged by Rother District Council
