The proposal is not objectionable, subject to above with provision of off-road car-parking ideally by internal, ground floor garage. I have no objection to 3-storeys on this site.
By building on this brown-field site Beckley is losing business-use land which means a green-field site must be allocated for local employment and 'infrastructure'. Environmental evangelists would throw a wobbly at the extra man-made emissions through commuting to Hastings to work! However, no one can be forced to run a business!
