Development and Site Allocations (DaSA) Local Plan - Options and Preferred Options

Representation ID: 22647

Received: 20/02/2017

Respondent: Mr Bernard Baverstock

Representation Summary:

I do not agree with the proposal to build residential dwellings on the land identified in Hobbs Lane. Although twelve homes are being proposed, the site would accommodate many more which no doubt is the idea of this scheme (phase 2 or more under the RDC shortfall). The proposal to build more dwellings in Hobbs Lane is the easy option for the Council, but to cram more homes into this area will likely lead to the ills of modern life, like vandalism, graffiti, etc. This proposal is overdevelopment in the Countryside and should be rejected.
