This is a sensible proposal for this site. Consideration should be given to the vehicular access into the junction of Hobbs Lane and the main road as this is often obstructed by parked vehicles. There should be restrictions on parking from the mouth of Hobbs Lane up the footpath entrance leading to Coombs Cottages. Large lorries have difficulty in trying to access the frozen food factory opposite the proposed site. Construction traffic would also be hampered by the current junction layout.

Any new development should be in the local Sussex style of architecture rather than off the peg designs which could be built anywhere.
