The aim and objective look good.
Box 36 (iv) "to integrate infrastructure programmes of key agencies" is an excellent idea but seldom happens. An example, EDF are currently renewing the electricity conductors across the parish. Recently the gas provider renewed gas mains in the parish. It is a pity that while there was a trench in the road the opportunity was missed to renew and bury the adjacent electrical cables. The benefits are so obvious in cost saved, disruption avoided, enhancement to the ANOB by the removal of poles and wires but it did not happen. Will future opportunities be taken? If the high speed fibre optic telephone/broadband cables are ever laid will the chance be taken to rationalise the existing infrastructure?
