The proposed policy should be adopted. It is important to retain development boundaries for villages and rural settlements and an essential consideration when looking at planning applications. Agree that priority should be given to developing brownfield sites.

Policy HOU 1 Policy does not address the issue of developers changing the mix part way during a project. The requirement in 8.15 for development of 6 or more houses to provide a mix sets the level too high and should be lower to address the excessive building of 4+ bed executive homes
