We have already raised concerns over the issue of a significant reduction on housing numbers and on the distribution. we feel the rural settlement of Robertsbridge should have a greater role in the delivery of housing in the District.

The Council have acknowledged the historical importance rural settlements have made towards the delivery of housing over the past 20yrs. Yet the Council now wishes to reduce this by more than 50% with no proper assessment of settlements potential or capcity. The Councils SHLAA assessment is not robust and has failed to update its intial assessment in light of current planning policy or new evidence.
