Representation Summary:

Recent study by Geoffrey Lawson C.Eng has made it very clear that the information provided by the applicant to prevent any damage on the Pevensey Levels from drainage water is not workable and will fail. This would be disastrous for this area which is a SAC /Ramsar site with international protection.

The conclusion is that the Pevensey Levels will be under continual threat of flooding and discharge of silty water which will have an adverse effect on its ecological balance.

This area needs to be protected therefore the development should not be considered any further.
