Representation Summary:

The proposed footpath is not within the development land area. It appears to cross privately owned land belonging to residents of Mayo Rise, which is also an unadopted lane.

The development and footpath would disturb and interfere the badger set at the end of the lane opposite our properties.

The proposed footpath appears to go through the last remaining trees that we have in Mayo Rise. As well as being important for wildlife, these trees screen us from the houses at the top of the lane, on Ninfield road, and help with noise pollution from the main road.

The junction of Mayo Rise with Ninfield road is also an accident blackspot. We have numerous close encounters when exiting and entering Mayo Rise, and feel that additional traffic in the form of cyclists and pedestrians will be very dangerous. We feel that on health and safety grounds that all access to the proposed development site should be via Watermill Lane
.
