It is noted that there are no specific policies addressing requirements or design criteria for other sites, such as commercial developments, tourism sites, or gypsy and traveller pitches. Although design policies and requirements are provided in the NPPF, local policies should make clear the expectations for all types of development rather than specifically for housing, as the current proposed policies for the DaSA have done.
