The following comments are made assuming that all developments will be assessed for their ecological impacts, and that if ecological assets are such that appropriate mitigation and/or compensation cannot be provided, the development should not go ahead. It should be recognised that LEAPs and LAPs can have ecological impacts and therefore may not always be appropriate within landscape buffer areas, ecological areas etc.

If grid references had been provided for allocated sites, more detailed comments could have been provided.
