European designated sites - Dungeness, Rye Bay and Romney Marsh Special Protection Area (SPA)/Ramsar site: part of the site is within the SPA/Ramsar.

Our records show that part of the site as indicated by the red outline, is within the SPA/Ramsar.

The policy needs to refer to the site's position within and adjacent to the SPA/Ramsar.

Development within the SPA/Ramsar needs to be avoided and if the allocation is likely to have a significant effect on the SPA/Ramsar, appropriate measures need to be specified within any planning application
