Development and Site Allocations (DaSA) Local Plan - Options and Preferred Options

Representation ID: 23229

Received: 18/02/2017

Respondent: Mr Dominic Manning

Representation Summary:

Agree in principle, although disagree with the change in wording from 'garden' to 'curtilage'. The latter can include for drives, terraces or other hard landscaping, whereas the former is usually associated with soft landscaping and is therefore misleading. Whilst the word 'curtilage' is perhaps uncommon in general usage, it is technically far more accurate and specific.
