The provision for rear garden spaces at least 10m deep is too restrictive, as it does not take account of the site-specific constraints. I appreciate the wording is 'will normally be expected', but this could be softened to 'will normally be preferred'. I suggest an area based policy would be more meaningful, suggest 75m2. This gives more scope to respond to the site-specific constraints, but still makes provision for private usable space. Otherwise agree with the policy & particularly commend item (iii).
