Barnhorn Green already has planning permission for 275 houses. Issues relate to access on to Barnhorn Road for new residents and the current level of traffic that we experience along Barnhorn and at the Little Common roundabout, which have already reached the prediction for 2028 without any developments taking place yet. We believe the expansion here should be put on hold until the effects of the new junction and first houses are completed. This would enable well planned and rational decisions to be made on the further development of this site

This question relates to increasing the size of the Barnhorn Green Development, which already has planning permission for 275 houses. The issues over this development have already been stated by us in our answers to Questions 27, 35 and 29. They relate to access on to Barnhorn Road for new residents and the current level of traffic that we experience along Barnhorn and at the Little Common roundabout, which have already reached the prediction for 2028 without any developments taking place yet. We believe the expansion here should be put on hold until the effects of the new junction and first houses are completed. This would enable well planned and rational decisions to be made on the further development of this site
