I fully support the re-instatement of the railway link from Robertsbridge to Bodiam. The completed scheme will have substantial environmental, tourist and wider benefits to the whole of the Rother Valley and surrounding areas. The railway will be wholly operated by the K&ESR who have over 40 years experience of operating a heritage railway. Considerable progress has already been made in implementing policy EM8 with the reinstatement of the railway line between Bodiam and Junction Rd also between Robertsbridge and Northbridge St together with new facilities at Robertsbridge Stn including a link to network rail.
