Representation Summary:

An AONB site should be avoided for major development (Ch17 10.10) A range of species is evident on this site which must be protected eg grass snakes/slow worms. The village is part of 'dark skies' (DEN6) which will be lost by street/security lighting and foraging bats seen present will be disturbed. Current residents have chosen to live in a 'dark skies' village for the tranquility which is highly valued(Ch17 10.96). Ancient historic field boundaries with veteran trees must (not should) be protected and incorporate a 15m buffer zone. Policy should state boundary of the site must reflect current residents curtilage.
