Development and Site Allocations (DaSA) Local Plan - Options and Preferred Options

Representation ID: 22602

Respondent: Mrs Drusilla Tramaseur

Representation Summary:

I agree with this policy approach particularly with regard to green space such as BEX5. This site in Knole Road, Bexhill is in an urban environment and could therefore be 'linked' with neighbouring gardens. The "eco system services" of this site include flood protection to the lower-lying properties to the south (1.5m difference in level over the site) as well as filtration of air pollutants from traffic (the site is close to the town centre), and biodiversity. The site was recognised in the Rother Open Space, Sport and Recreation Study as one of just 3 high-quality sites.
