Representation Summary:

I feel strongly about the moving of the pedestrian crossing. The Catsfield Community Speedwatch have recorded some excessive speeds on the B2204 and reported to the police cars over taking on the pedestrian crossing. Moving it away from the services would be putting the villagers and more importantly the children at risk.

I do not agree with the requirements of Policy CAT1 due to the number of houses being built. I would agree if the number of houses did not exceed 10.
I completely disagree with the movement of the pedestrian crossing (to be moved north) on the B2204. It is moving the crossing away from the village services such as the shop and bus stop. Many children congregate at the school bus stop and they need to be able to use the crossing close to the services. The policy talks about the importance of these services but wants to stop safe access by moving the crossing away from them. This is contradictory.
I would like to add that providing comments on this website has been extremely challenging and frustrating. I believe many people would find it difficult to make comments on-line and I suspect this may be the intention of the council to make it as awkward as possible to stop representations.
