Representation ID: 22549

Respondent: Mr Marshall Hartnell

Representation Summary:

No.

Land connecting Moor Lane and the A28-Land to south east of corridor should be developed and the planned original road built along corridor to link up village, reduce traffic outside school/village as well as being in line with previous plans.

Land off Goulds Drive-No access off of Goulds Drive due to ransom strips and Planning Inspector approved direct access to Stonestile Lane, and higher housing density.

Should be developed with adjacent 3ha to south to include a link road between A28/Stonestile Lane, maybe even Moor Lane, diverting traffic away from school, if land south of Greenways/Pennyfields is also included.

Land connecting Moor Lane and the A28 - Land to south east of corridor should be developed and the planned original road built along corridor (hence existence of corridor) to link up village, reduce traffic outside school and improve vehicle movements around the village as well as being in line with previous plans, whilst reducing pollution in residential areas. A southern boundary road could be built to join A28, Stonestile Lane and even Moor Lane, which will also be suitable for the development of an industrial area with suitable road access for HGVs. Rutherfords Business Park at Marley Lane is preferred to Wheel Lane due to better access.

Land off Goulds Drive-No access off of Goulds Drive due to ransom strips and Planning Inspector approved direct access to Stonestile Lane, and also a higher housing density.

Should be developed with adjacent 3 ha to south of site so that planned infrastructure roads can include a link road between A28 and Stonestile Lane, maybe even to Moor Lane, diverting traffic away from school and residents, if land south of Greenways / Pennyfields is also included in plan. This will reduce air pollution within the village.
