I fully support this proposal for the following reasons. Steam Heritage Railways are a growing tourist attraction. The number of visitors to the Bluebell Railway has dramatically increased after reinstating the connection to the main line railway at East Grinstead.The RVR proposal has the same potential to increase tourist numbers via public transport. This will ease road traffic and their associated environmental impact. The weekend events planned by the railway will also increase the demand for overnight accommodation with their positive impact on the local economy.
