Village is too small for this many houses. The sewage system would not cope, there is no space at the village school for more pupils.
This is the only area of natural scubland in this area and it is also a flood plain which floods Broomham lane whenever it rains. building on this site will destroy local wildlife and cause a flood risk to the village.
adding a road onto the b2204 at the site suggested is madness. this part of the village already has a major traffic problem and people have had near misses on the pedestrian crossing without another road here.
There is no need to add access to the 1066 walk through a long existing hedgerow ecosystem. If they want to WALK the 1066 footpath, they can access the path via the entrance next to the shop like everyone else. Otherwise this will just be used as a shortcut to the shop and a late night hang out for youths.
