The Parish Council have been working closely with all parties involved in the development of this site. It will provide additional recreational facilities in the village and has the full support of the Council. Development of the Westfield Down and Moorhurst site would involve specific highways considerations regarding traffic calming measures - in addition to those already specified for The Down development. This would be a very welcome addition to address fast flowing traffic on the A28 through Westfield. Likewise, the strengthening/widening of footways would also be a most welcome improvement.
