During the mill site planning application, there was a document from RDC to the developers explaining the cost of an affordable home (unfortunately this document is no longer on the planning application to be viewed), this stated that the cost was associated to the average income per household in the village. This is incorrect as with the recent influx of people working outside of the area, this pushes the average income higher. This should be based on what wages can be earned locally i.e within a 10-15 mile radius.
