In principle Rastrum Ltd support the Preferred Strategy for Rye and Rye Harbour, they would however question the following
Section fiii) Development and Housing:
This policy seems to miss out exploring the potential of sites to the South East of Rye, namely sites on Harbour Road adjacent to Rye Harbour.
It is believed there is some logic in considering sites adjacent to Rye Harbour as they would be adjacent to the area zoned for employment, and would therefore reduce commuter traffic across Rye to the Rye Harbour Employment Area that would result from sites to the north and west.
