Core Strategy Consultation on Strategy Directions 2008

Representation ID: 19096

Received: 28/11/2008

Respondent: Mrs Lorna Hall

Representation Summary:

I query the population figures you use for Rye and Battle. You state that Rye has a population of 5,000 - last census shows population of 4,009 and that Battle has a population of 5,000 - last census shows population of 6,048. You can see that Rye and Battle are nearly 2,000 residents apart but are expected to accommodate a similar number of new houses in the preferred strategy figures. Pleases could you explain why?
