The Link Road may be a key driver in facilitating the development however, public transport and non-car modes of travel are essential to help achieve a rebalancing of the transport system. The SPD would be improved by a more detailed analysis of how public transport can be viably delivered as part of the development. In particular, further consideration could be given to public transport in the Policy BX3 area, potentials for augmenting existing bus services to the south, and links with the LTP and service providers.
