Hastings supports the objective to maximise employment potential and attract good quality jobs. Strongly supports the intention to provide serviced plots. However, there needs to be a greater degree of flexibility and balance in the mix of uses to be accommodated here and that these should complement the provision being made elsewhere in the area. North Bexhill is the only location capable of accommodating existing general manufacturing and distribution companies in the area seeking larger premises, and there should be more positive support for these.
