Principle (i) - although brownfield land development has priority, some development of greenfield land may be needed. There needs to be specific mention of this to ensure it is the best connected land with the lowest ecological value (therefore most sustainable).

(iv) â€" development in locations with good accessibility by public transport should be supported.

(xii) â€" there is a current need to continually supply housing land and the targets should be fully recognised in the LDF.
