98. What are your views on the Council's proposed policy on community and social facilities and services?

Sport England generally supports this policy however a distinction needs to be made in relation to the proposed loss land and buildings in recreation use that is to be assessed against para 103 of the the NPPF that does not include financial viability as referred to in DEV4. Sport England will object to any policy that introduces financial viability as an assessment criteria in the consideration of the loss of sport and recreation land and buildings.
