At b iv (c), we do not agree that this is a demand management measure, while at b vii we recognise the greatly increased opportunities for short car trips will undermine sustainable alternatives.

We believe that there is no reason for a dichotomy between the 'Strategic' and the 'Local'. They have a strong inextricable relationship

We feel that the 'Environment' section acknowledges the very special assets administered by RDC and we feel very positive about this section.

However, there are contradictions between this section and the 'Economy' section that appear to result from a less than holistic approach to drafting the LDF.
