Para 12.6 sets out 'Rural Areas Objectives' which in the main present sensible objectives. However, there is a need to make provision and inclusion of a rural housing objective to promote housing growth and to create more housing choice. Currently the objectives are too conservation based and need to be more flexible to cater for housing growth at a higher level than currently set out in the Core Strategy.
