Section (ii) of the policy states that in rural areas developments should provide a mix of housing sizes and types with at least 30% one and two bedroomed dwellings (being mostly 2 bed).
Whilst it is recognised that a Housing Needs Survey has been undertaken to inform the preparation of the Core Strategy it is considered that the above text is unduly prescriptive and does not allow for changes in housing market and associated changes in housing need as required by PPS 3.
