A key objective of national planning policy is to promote thriving inclusive and sustainable rural communities. Whilst the main objectives of this section are strongly supported, it is considered that an additional objective could be added stating that sustainable residential growth will be supported in larger villages in accordance with PPS 3 and PPS 7.
