Representation Summary:

The aspiration to further develop the area as a tourist destination is also welcomed and the RVR Robertsbridge to Bodiam re-connection project will allow tourists to visit Bodiam Castle by train rather than by road.
The continuing support of Rother DC for the extension of the Kent and East Sussex Railway is welcomed.
In response to this support, RVR has re-built 1.2 km of railway westwards from Bodiam. K&ESR recently ran the first passenger train for 50 years.
RVR is currently spending half a million pounds on repairing and rebuilding the bridges and laying new track from Robertsbridge Junction Station to Northbridge Street.
