It is noted from the Rural Settlements Study that Robertsbridge (a Rural Service Centre) has an identified need for additional children's play areas.
This deficiency could be remedied by the early release of the Grove Farm reserve housing site which could provide a new children's play area in close proximity to the school. This would accord with Item (iii) of Local Plan policy VL7.
