It is very important that preserving the pieces of open countryside mentioned, between Hastings and Bexhill, Crowhurst Battle and Fairlight, does not mean sacrificing land that may be appropriate for business or domestic premises. This would inhibit business growth and the 'sustainable economic growth' that the district is looking to secure.
