We are supportive of the Preferred Strategy -
The need for increasing employment opportunities, particularly for higher value jobs, is key to the long term sustainability of vibrant villages with good local services. The strategy, in this Section and in the Economy Section would benefit from additional work and analysis of the options and means to secure economic development consistent with protection of the environment and heritage.
On housing, the detailed numbers need to be informed by site availabillity.
