There is a problem of derelict or poorly-maintained sites in Rye, many of which are in public ownership. Rye is looking shabby and the locations that are the main culprits are in public or semi-public ownership. Surely, the LDF is an opportunity for these partners to co-operate in "joined up" planning for the sake of the town.
