A library will bring enormous benefits for community life and a venue for activities, communication and consultation. It will also be important for neighbouring villages. The document assumes that a Rye library is in hand, but there are serious doubts as to whether the proposed library is sufficient in scale. The LDF must seek a library fit for purpose.
