The land between Ivyhouse Lane and Rock Lane mentioned on page 47, Box 11 a(ii) Preferred Strategy for the Hastings fringes in Rother district "joint working to develop multi-functional green spaces". The preservation of the essential nature of an ANOB is important. Exceptional circumstances that might cause this to change should be examined carefully. Hastings residents should continue to be able to enjoy the beautiful countryside that is currently within walking distance of their town.
