The planned developments on the fringes of Bexhill would destroy further areas of countryside and damage the environment. Once these rural areas are lost they can never be restored.
This area is already suffering the effects of over-population, and the infrastructure cannot sustainably cope with further increases, particularly with regard to water supplies, transport and waste disposal.
