Full text:

It is noted that the areas for development in Camber are currently limited with the overflow car park and old garage site being potential areas for development. Camber Parish Council would strongly encourage the building of properties on these sites. The proposed development of housing which included affordable dwellings which was put forward by Rother District Council would be welcomed - this is not only to provide homes for local people which was part of the brief of the development but also to set the benchmark for future development in Camber in relation to issues raised by determination of flood zones - the sequential test is currently fixed.
The progress of Camber development should be encouraged to allow the older housing to be replaced by new properties which are forward thinking in design and less reliant on wasteful sources of energy.
In addition we would welcome the widening of the current building envelope to include land at Jurys Gap where there is room to develop with residential dwellings on land in private ownership.
We would welcome improvements to the infrastructure particularly investment by Water companies and improvements to drainage.
