RVR welcomes the continuing support of Rother DC for the extension of the Kent and Sussex Steam Railway.
In response to this support, RVR has re-built 1.2 Km of railway westwards from Bodiam Station. K&ESR ran the first passenger train for 50 years over this line in March 2011.
RVR is currently spending half a million pounds on repairing and rebuilding the bridges and laying new track from Robertsbridge Junction Station to Northbridge Street.
