There should be control measures in regards to traffic in place to aid preservation.
There should be further consideration of routes, flows and control measures around and through the town.
The route from the Strand Quay to Monkbretton Bridge Area by Rye Peninsula/Rock Channel of Rye should be regarded as a second jewel in Rye's crown.With further joined up and sympathetic development, this route could be completed to provide an additional attraction to the town for walkers and cyclists to enjoy the river areas, views and picnic places.
