Proposed Submission Core Strategy

Representation ID: 20722

Received: 26/10/2011

Respondent: Mr James Milne

Legally compliant? Yes

Sound? No

Duty to co-operate? Not specified

Representation Summary:

It is essential to my basic premise that your proposal to follow the plan laid down in Map2 "Bexhill Inset diagram" on page 214 of the core Strategy is inappropriate and not sound in the light of the present economic circumstances and that there are possible alternatives which I wish to suggest would be more beneficial to the town's future prosperity.
There is no clear evidence that this link road is going to reduce the traffic along the A259 between Bexhill and Hastings.
The construction of a railway station at Ravenside will play no significant part in reducing the flow.
