Until this draft of the local plan, all of the issues of land stability and surface water drainage (and indeed Para 11.41) are concerned with the issues at Fairlight. Why has Cliff End been included in the CCMA, when it has completely different geology and issues of erosion when compared with Fairlight. There are also 2 fields between Fairlight and Cliff End included in the CCMA unnecessarily - they are owned by the National Trust, in the AONB and adjacent to a SSSI, so unlikely to be in need of any sort of control on development. This strikes me as a lazy attempt to deal with the issues at two very separate locations under one single policy. If there needs to be a CCMA at Cliff End, it should be separate from that at Fairlight Cove
