Building a clear plan to assist and aid the over 65s to move to more suitable insulated, automated, community based homes while freeing up the larger properties for conversion to multiple dwellings for younger families should take priority over and above any plans to use greenfield. Such a plan with clear incentives, using local labor for house conversions would be far greener than using greenfield for mass house development such as BAT0014 and BAT0026.
