RDC must take a robust stance as regards the beaches and seawater being contaminated by sewage.
The beaches and sea are an important amenity used by residents to whom RDC have a responsibility. Visitors will become disenchanted with Bexhill and Camber and have its reputation impaired by continual sea water contamination.
RDC must take action on behalf of its residents.
It is not enough to put this issue onto the shoulders of other agencies. It is RDC that represents the residents.
Contaminated seawater is neither ‘Living well' nor 'Green’.
