I find both statements 5.38 & 5.39 quite astounding. The A259 is already at capacity. The little Common roundabout and Barnhorn Road have already been redesigned and supposedly improved to alleviate congestion. But it still remains crawling from 7am to 7pm. It's a main artery route;, shared and active transport options just won't happen, people just won't change their travel habits. Building more developments in this area will only will only cause significantly more traffic chaos.
